In a world where some “pet-friendly” hotels barely tolerate pets, we give Best Friends Roadhouse a 16 out of 10 on the pet-friendliness scale. They offer a truly unique experience – the opportunity to stay in a friendly hotel!
Our room was lovely, with a kitchen to prepare and serve breakfast and a dining area. The bed was also incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was amazing.
But most hotels have nice rooms and comfortable beds. Best Friends Road differs in the way it treats animals, starting with its pet policy. No pet fee, no weight restrictions, no breed restrictions, cats are welcome and up to four pets are allowed per room.
But that’s not what makes the hotel special. These are the features that make your pet’s stay enjoyable.
Kanab Vacation Rental
After a long day in the car, Miles and I were surprised to find that the roadhouse has two dog parks! He needs to move around and give off some energy. Rod and I went for a long evening walk on our knees.
The hotel provided Miles with doggie bags in our room, but he preferred to swim in the dog’s eye.
She was not too happy to see the petting zoo and the costumes of the guests. Luckily, we didn’t have any accidents where Miles needed a shower. But for anyone looking forward to a little more attention with their dog, it will come in handy.
Another treat we found (besides the human biscuits and dog treats accepted at check-in) was that Miles had two dog beds. Not including us!
