Relax on a private island. Your (albeit small) canal is accessible only through a drawbridge. It is still a romantic abode. But it began as a shop in the 1700s drawn by horses from a nearby mill or take a walk along the Witchwood Way, a 37-mile historic route through the ancient Royal Forest. Two people were provided with biscuits for sleeping.
