Dog Friendly Resorts California – Anush, Lola and I just returned from a 2 night weekend getaway to Napa Valley. Napa is one of our favorite local spots but we haven’t been there since we found Lola! I’m always looking for a pet friendly resort and have heard nothing but good things about Solage Calistoga, part of the Auberge Resort. After visiting its sister property, Auberge Du Soleil, a few years ago, there was no doubt that we would love Soleil!

In the heart of California wine country, just an hour and a half from San Francisco and 2 hours by car from San Jose, is Solage, an Auberge Resorts collection. Situated on 22 hectares surrounded by beautiful mountains and beautiful vineyards, Solage has 100 spacious and modern studios. We stayed in the beautiful Garden Terrace King Studio which has comfortable outdoor seating and a private wraparound patio, making it perfect for pets (or kids!). All furry friends get special treatment with their own bed, bowls and welcome bag.

One of Napa Valley’s premier destination pool experiences, the historic 130-foot Solage Pool features a poolside picobar restaurant, private cabanas, daybeds, lounges and an elevated pool deck for a more expansive experience.
