Top 10 Best Dog Friendly Hiking Trails Near Mount Laguna, Ca
Banning State Park is located about an hour and 15 minutes north of the Twin Cities metro area and is one of my favorite state parks in Minnesota. The park has 27 miles of trails and some of the best, including the Hell’s Gate Trail along the bluffs at the end of the Kettle River.
The worst trail in the state park is the Hell’s Gate Trail So for those of you who don’t like slowly climbing rocks as the trail becomes more suggestive than a marked trail in the forest, this may not be the trail for you. Then I recommend the Quarry Trail, which connects to the High Bluff Trail to reach Wolf Creek Falls. But for dog-human couples who are ready for more adventure, the Hell’s Gate Trail is a lunchtime treat.
