We skipped the busy main lobby for a check-in and made a beeline for the more secluded Palawan lobby at the hotel reserved for Paw-fect Retreat guests. Our first impression of the Premier Courtyard Room: It’s very spacious (it’s 63sqm), which means even Crunch has plenty of room to move around.

The facilities in the room (for people) are adequate – coffee and tea bags, water and coconut water are provided. But you don’t have to worry that the shops at the Imbiya monorail station don’t have enough drinks.
One thing we liked was that we didn’t have to pack a lot of crunch stuff for our stay – almost everything we needed was provided (we only packed for food). In the pet supply kit provided, there are basic supplies such as pet bowls, bedding, pet wipes and peepads. But we (especially the dogs, of course) were pleasantly surprised by the food – the pork jerky and laksa kueh bakkit definitely the nod to Crunch. There are even pet bandanas for photo opps, because what’s a vacation without a fit check to prove it?
But one of our favorite things in the pack: the dog sniffing mat is available, which is one of Crunch’s favorite activities at home and always keeps him busy for a long time.
