You’ll likely find Ha Long Peak and EEOR (below) on your list of top Kananaski hikes. How important is this? You can’t beat the view of the Canadian Rockies! If you visit Ha Ling, it is definitely worth the hike.

We have seen people of all fitness levels complete the summit of Ha Ling. Although it takes patience, one step at a time will get you there. The path is easy and has great rewards. Be careful walking on the soft saddle stones and don’t get too close to the edge.

While you’ll often see Ha Ling Peak recommended by Kannada’s best hiking lists, Kanon Peak is rarely mentioned. While we think Ha Ling Peak is one of the best hikes in the Kananskis, if you have enough time, we also recommend hiking Miner Peak.

Once you reach the raceday saddle of Ha Ling Peak, the climb to the summit of the mines is a little more difficult, but it is very peaceful and the view is great. In addition, you will get one of the best views of Ha Ling Peak.

We have been returning to this Kananaski tour for years and enjoy it every time. After passing through the forest, you will reach a hill and hikers will always have a beautiful view of the mountain.

There is a slight climb to the top for the full climb. We, like most hikers, will turn to the 5.2km mark due to time constraints. But don’t worry, even if you don’t summit Wasootch Ridge, you’ll still get the best part of the trip.

The constant views of the Canadian Rockies from this tour make it high on the list of best tours in Kannadaskis country. See more photos in the full blog post on the Wasootch Ridge Trail.
