Although now a deeply romantic abode, the site had humbler beginnings in the 1700s, when a carriage shop was pulled upriver by the horses of a neighboring mill. Explore the local villages of the Cotswolds or walk the Wychwood Way, a 37-mile historic route through an ancient royal forest. Dog biscuits are provided. Two sleep.

The Lake District has a great selection of walks that you and your dog (or dogs) will love. There are plenty of places to run and plenty of walks to explore and enjoy.
A great selection of walks include gentle lakeside paths, sandy beaches along the Cumbrian coast and Morecambe Bay, rivers, streams (or becks as we call them!) and literally thousands of paths through valleys, hills, mountains, woods and forests. Both you and your dog (or dogs) can enjoy a great vacation together, day or night!
At the time of booking, we accept up to 2 dogs in our holiday homes. We charge £20 for one dog or £30 for 2 dogs. This charge is for extra cleaning, which removes special pet hair from a Miele Hoover, so non-dog owners can be sure they won’t see or smell any evidence of a pet or dog in our kitchen.
