One of my favorites from this trip was one night we came home late from a sunset hike at Lake George.
We were hungry and didn’t want to sit and wait in a restaurant for our hiking gear and didn’t feel like looking for a restaurant for good food. So we went straight back to Hatopia and went into a cafe around 8:30pm.
A few minutes later we had two hot and fresh wood oven pizzas and the best red wine I’ve had in a long time. 😱 When we sit together at the restaurant, we play games and eat until they close and walk to our cottage in a minute.

I was surprised to learn that Hutopia started in Europe in 1999 and has locations in France, Holland, Spain, China and Canada.
There are only 5 Huttopia locations in the US and we are lucky enough to have a couple here in the Northeast! There are two in California, one in New Hampshire, Maine and one I wrote in New York.
Located in the southernmost Adirondacks, it’s not too far from CT. But you still get a feel for the typical wilderness in the 6 million-acre Adirondack Park. 🌲

In the evening, you can enjoy a wood-fired pizza to go or enjoy it in the open air, which you have outside and inside.
