Our managers at We Love Pets Belfast – husband and wife Karen and Phil Karen have many years of experience working with animals, including training as dog groomers 35 years ago. Karen first began her animal career as an assistant trainer and runner in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Since then, Karen has run a pet grooming business in South Africa for eight years. Karen: “I look forward to working with animals every day, giving pets love and enrichment and getting to know their owners. I am an animal lover and especially enjoy nature walks.”
After nearly 20 years as a CEO in the corporate environment, Phil is thrilled to be joining Karen. Phil is a true animal lover and is also very sporty and enjoys the outdoors.

Our goal is to make every walk the highlight of your dog’s day, allowing him to play, socialize, exercise, explore new sights and smells, and bring him home happy and tired.
Your dog’s safety is always our top priority, which is why we never pack dog walkers. We want your dog to have a pleasant walk without being bombarded by lots of other dogs and always under supervision. Instead, our trained and trusted handlers will walk your dog with two canine companions, allowing for maximum playtime and social interaction.
We also offer social dog walking and one-to-one dog walking services if you have a dog that wants to be left alone with its walker or to be pampered while you travel the world.
With our pet services, you can rest assured that your pets are well cared for and comfortable in their own home. Our pet sitter will spend time with your pets, take care of them, feed them, provide fresh water when needed and clean up any messes.

Each of our pet sitters is professionally trained, vetted, fully insured and has a background check. For added safety, they also have current pet first aid training.
We care for dogs, cats, horses, ponies, small animals and birds. If you have more than one pet, don’t worry – the more the merrier! Before booking, we will schedule an introductory meeting to discuss your pet grooming routine and ensure we maintain your regular grooming routine.
If you want to go out and don’t want to leave your dog behind, we offer dog boarding. You choose the time you want to book our trusted dog sitter and we will come to your home and take care of your dog for however long it takes. It is ideal for dogs that need personal care in their own home.

The pack goes out of its way to walk a large group of dogs at once. It is not safe for dogs, pedestrians or members of the public who encounter them. We never walk your dog with luggage, which means he has more time to enjoy the walk than being stuck in a van carrying other dogs.
