Some of the special features include individually fenced campsites and caravan sites, six secure dog walking areas, a cabana with hot tub and a dog-friendly play area, as well as giant balls. Dog-friendly cabins with fenced yards are also available. All dogs should sleep inside at night!

Once you arrive in Warrnambool, Port Ferry and Portland, there are plenty of dog-friendly taxis available, including many affordable options. On a trip along the Great Ocean Road we stayed in a cabin at the Gum Tree Caravan Park in Port Boran.

We were very impressed with the cabin studio which was nice and modern with a bathroom and a great kitchen which was exactly what we needed. Naturally, our dog was happy to stay with us, only $10 more per night (as of 2019), and the park owner was very friendly.

The nearby town of Port Ferry is a lovely place. I recommend getting a list of the many historic buildings and taking a self-guided tour or walking the beach with your dog.
