If you dare to step outside those homes and views, you’ll see some of the Wild Atlantic Road’s most beautiful beaches nearby. Named after the nearby area, ‘Laharandota’ is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the beauty of West Cork. Situated in the rugged south west coast countryside at Sheep’s Head, the sea views from Dunmanus Beach Art Gallery are spectacular. The studio is surrounded by a peaceful park complete with swimming pool and waterfall! A welcoming and relaxing place, it has everything you need to explore the Irish Mediterranean for a few days. Both properties are dog friendly and the park is a lovely place for dogs to explore. Please note that many walks in this part of Ireland, including Sheep’s Head Street and nearby Beara Street, do not allow dogs. That said, we kept Juno on and the locals told us that as long as the dogs didn’t disturb the local sheep, it was fine.
