This grand 19th-century castle, which sleeps eight, sits above the picturesque harbor of Bouley Bay on the North Jersey coast and features a private garden and deck perfect for watching fishing boats. The quirky Fort Leicester is built into the rock face on three different levels, requiring visitors to climb to get from room to room, with grassy sections in between. Dogs are welcome and a car is essential given the remote location.
The five-star Cliff House Hotel enjoys the best seaside location on Ireland’s south coast, an hour’s drive from Cork or Waterford airports and Rosslare Harbour. Enjoy a walk in the ocean and splash around with your furry friend, before drying him off with a warm towel. Dogs can join their owners on the terrace and enjoy a relaxing break, and homemade treats will be available upon arrival. Bed boxes can be borrowed at reception. For health and safety reasons, dogs must be kept on a leash and supervised at all times and not left alone in rooms. They are not allowed in the bar area and restaurant areas.
