Of course they still came and spent two weeks with our Ruby. He was obsessed with it. Ruby doesn’t fall in love with many people easily, so we were excited to see how much she fell in love with them. They both have Best Energy and Ruby to live in their own home which made it so convenient! She went to the beach A LOT, walked 3 times a day, went to dinner with them, cuddled all the time and they worked on her separation anxiety while we were gone. She was living her best life and we were getting tons of photos every day + tons of what they were doing. They went above and beyond with our furry baby.
When we returned home from our trip and walked in her door, she was confused about who she wanted to sit with: her old parents or her new parents. The sweetest thing ever, and even sweeter, was how much she missed them after they were gone.

Don’t you hate having to decide where to leave your dog while you’re on vacation? The sadness is real. I try to leave Simba with a family member if possible. Fortunately, there is usually a family member available to hold Simba for a few days. I have no worries about leaving Simba with the family because the family loves him as much as I do.
It is present in many places in our family and everyone does very well. Everyone loves Simba! I like the fact that he will be around other dogs that he plays with regularly and is very aware of his surroundings. You always feel good when we visit family. He likes attention.

The hotel we are staying in may not allow pets. I wish all hotels were pet friendly and there were pet friendly places everywhere so you don’t have to worry about where to leave your dog while you’re on vacation. It would have been great to take Simba on his first trip to the beach, but this time it wasn’t possible.
What Toys Can I Leave In My Puppy’s Crate?
Even though my family and I would have liked to have taken Simba with us, we knew he would be safe with his family while we were gone. Simba was great with a family member while we were away, but he was happy to have us back!
We were definitely happy to be back home with him. It is not a good idea to leave your dog with someone who is afraid of dogs or has no experience with them. You should try leaving your dog with someone who owns a dog or at least has experience with dogs, loves them and knows your dog well.
If a family member or friend is not available, you can always take your dog somewhere. As always, do your research and visit the location before taking your dog out with complete strangers. Be sure to check reviews and ask people who they recommend.
Pet kennels or resorts are places where you can leave your dog overnight, for a few days or even longer. Your vet may offer boarding services, so check with your vet first to make sure your dog is comfortable with the vet and staff.
